Who are we?

We are the Falkirk Linux Users Group, a bunch of geeks that meet up to talk about Linux and related technologies. If this sounds like your kind of group, then please come and join us. We are a pretty friendly bunch!

How to get in touch?

Other than our monthly meetings (below) we do use other mediums for communicating.

You can join our mailing list by going to here and completing the form. Oh and once on, please don't forget to say hello ;)

If as well as the mailing list you like live chat, point your favoured IRC client to irc.freenode.net and the channel #falkirklug. It tends to be pretty active during the day.

We've also created a page on Google Plus with a view to linking interesting material and dicussing past/upcoming talks. Click the link on the left to get to that page.

How often and where do we meet?

Currently we meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm, upstairs at the Wheatsheaf Inn, 16 Baxter's Wynd, Falkirk. Meetings gernerally take the form of a short talk followed by a Q&A session. After the meeting we then continue to purchase from the fine selection of real ales, quality whiskies, and of course soft drinks, whilst discussing the talk, tech in general, or other randomness.
